||As a child, Don "Da Coach" Feuling watched Iron Mike Ditka and his beloved Chicago Bears battle their NFL opponents in the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field. Over the next four decades, their lives would take very divergent paths...and ultimately rejoin and remain intertwined: The Coach and Da Coach®.
While Ditka brought glory and a world championship to the Windy City, Don kept the town running, spending 30 years in the Water Department (where his co-workers constantly had fun with his resemblance to the cigar-chomping Hall-of-Famer). He's now retired and continues to live on the North side, home for all of his 57 years (aside from eight spent on active duty as an army medic).
On a whim in October of 2007, a buddy convinced Don to attend the "Ditkaween" lookalike contest hosted by ESPN AM-1000's "Waddle & Silvy Show". As soon as he walked in, the competition was declared over -- Don "Da Coach" Feuling was born!
The next day, Don appeared on the cover of the Sun-Times, followed by regular appearances across Chicago's airwaves (WGN, WMAQ, WBBM, WCIU, US99, and more). He also returns each year to the Ditkaween contest that started it all, where
he and his family have forged a bond with Tom Waddle, Marc Silverman, and Iron Mike himself.
